a new year!~

it's 2018 now and after a long push and pull between winter and spring i think spring has finally won! it's getting warmer and those tree buds are starting to really do their thing!  in a matter of days there is a noticeable difference! so yay!
so, with this tree stuff..  last year i went a little overboard and took on too many trees, i couldn't keep track of them all, got busy doing other things and well, for assorted reasons it just got away from me.  i did keep up with some on my inaturalist app, but transferring it to here was more work than i wanted to do, so bleh.
i think i might try again this year with just a few.  hopefully it will work out.  if not, well so it is.
