american elm is the most common tree in the city, they are very large and twisty and lovely. you can see up high that they have buds and they are starting to wake up, but the branches are often so high up there. on this particular block i happened to find 2 trees that had some branches lower down.
1. one with branches sticking out lower down from the trunk and newer buds..
2. and one that had higher branches that dipped down low enough that i could take pictures of them..
