i am not sure if this is the best format to do this, but i am giving it a shot.
my idea for this at the moment is to be able to do a post per tree, or type of tree? and then be able to go back and edit/add as i get more pictures or info and as the seasons change.  i figure this way perhaps i can maybe keep everything sort of organized and all in one place and be able to view it in a half decent way.
hopefully i will keep on top of things and be able to work on this for the rest of the year, but who knows what happens?  and if things are all on here i can pick up where i left off next year!
as with pretty much everything i do in life, i'm just making it up as i go along, so..  we shall see.
but this is my tree tracking project!
it's purpose is many things..  first of all to keep me busy outside looking at trees, to help me learn to identify different trees, to get photos of various trees at different stages of their growth throughout the seasons, and if i'm up to it i'll get around to testing out some of the dye properties of some of them too.  some of them like oak, mountain ash, poplar & apple i already know are good dye sources, but it'll be good to test out some others!  but the main purpose is just to take pictures of trees.
anyway..  that's that!
